The six originals

Six colors. Endless possibilities.

The color in the tube is only the beginning.

Each shade reacts with your natural lip chemistry and warmth to develop into a color uniquely yours.

How it works

Yes. The lipstick really is green.

Swipe it on. Watch it transform.

The formula responds to your natural lip chemistry and warmth, developing into a shade of pink or fuchsia that's uniquely yours. As the creamy color wears, a satin, stain-like finish remains.

  1. Swipe it on

Green goes on. Within seconds, your unique shade begins to develop.

  2. Your chemistry develops the shade

Your natural lip chemistry and warmth influence how the color develops.

  3. The color stays with you

As the creamy layer wears down, a satin, stain-like finish remains.

Our story

Before color-changing went viral, there was L'Paige.

It started with a green lipstick in 1984.

Erlene Hammett blended the first L'Paige in 1984 — a green lipstick that bloomed into pink the moment it touched your lips. For more than four decades, Lipstick Lovers have been discovering the little bit of magic inside an L'Paige tube, made the same way: aloe vera, beeswax and castor oil, creamy going on and satin staying on.

  • Est. 1984 Founded by Erlene Hammett
  • Aloe-based Aloe vera, beeswax & castor oil
  • Cruelty-free No lead, no aluminum, never tested on animals

And that's not all.
